Dog Boarding

Canine accommodations offer 5ft x 5ft indoor rooms. Insulated walls with tile facing offer quieter, clean, and comfortable living spaces. No cinderblock or chainlink walls here! 5’ x 5’ indoor with 5’ x 10’ outdoor runs are available as well as double sized rooms for families with more than one large dog.

The interior of our building is climate controlled to provide pets with the most comfortable experience.

We provide raised sleeping cots, plush bedding, dishes, and toys, but you are welcome to bring, blankets and a few toys from home. Any bedding brought from home, must be machine washable, and please be sure to mark all your belongings!

Please note: large dog beds, pillows or pads are not accepted. If your pet soils or chews their bedding, we may decide to remove some or all personal belongings from your pet's room in order to preserve their integrity and ensure your pet remains safe from ingesting foreign objects.  We provide chew-proof cots for all dogs, especially those dogs who can't help but tear apart their bedding.

Requirements for a Stay

  • We take the health and safety of our boarders very seriously. Please review the following policy carefully and feel free to contact us with any questions.

A stay requires a veterinarian certificate indicating proof of current vaccinations for the following diseases:

    Bordetella
    Canine Influenza
Distemper / Parvo / Parainfluenza / Adenovirus combo
    Rabies

All vaccines must be complete and up-to-date at least 7 days before expected arrival. This means that any boosters required after first time vaccination for canine influenza or bordetella must be complete as well. Initial vaccines without completed boosters do not satisfy our vaccine requirements. Young boarders must have completed all puppy vaccine series at least one week before arriving. This allows vaccines to be as effective as possible before your pet arrives.

  • Any medications should be brought in their original packaging/prescription bottles. Please DO NOT mix medications in with your pet's food before arriving.

    Fees

$2 per administration (for oral medication)

    $8 per injection for insulin

  • We provide bedding, dishes, and toys. We also provide food for an additional fee. Please bring food from home if your pet has a special diet or is sensitive to a change in food. Please do not bring large or fluffy beds. We cannot launder them if they become soiled. If you bring toys, please be sure they are not easy for your pet to destroy. If your dog begins to significantly damage a toy, it will be removed from their room to avoid them ingesting it.

Kennel provided food - $4 per day

  • Canine Cough, also referred to as Infectious Tracheobronchitis, is an illness that can be caused by different viral or bacterial agent and affects the respiratory tract. The most common symptom is a cough. Other symptoms may develop such as nasal or eye discharge as well as a decrease in appetite or energy.

Some of the viral and bacterial causes of Canine Cough including but not limited to bordetella bronchiseptica, mycoplasma, coronavirus, parainfluenza, and adenovirus.

While we require all available vaccines that combat infection, these vaccines do not prevent illness in all cases. We are committed to a high standard of cleanliness, fresh air intake to the facility, and protocols for daily disinfecting. Despite all best efforts, it is still possible for Canine Cough exposures especially during the busiest times of the year. Dogs can come in to contact with contagious dogs or contaminated objects at a variety of locations where there is higher dog traffic. Places like dog parks, grooming salons, boarding kennels, training classes, an any other time dogs share space with each other.

Symptoms typically develop within 3-10 days of exposure. No all dogs who encounter these diseases develop symptoms, however, they can still transmit the disease to others.

While dogs very frequently recover from Canine Cough without veterinary intervention, we recommend that you speak with your veterinarian if you suspect your dog is showing symptoms. If your dog is showing symptoms of Canine Cough, please contact our office as well.

If you would like to discuss in further detail our cleaning protocols and other methods of reducing the risk of exposures, you can call our office or email us and we'd be happy to speak with you!
